Day Visitors

We have designated sites with benches and tables which are available for day visitors. Pre-order from our picnic menu and enjoy nature for the day underneath the poplar trees or grab a bench next to the river.

We require a minimum of 72hrs notice for picnic baskets.

Gas braais are available for hire for the day.

Day visiting is on a first come first serve basis, we do not take bookings in advance.

Important note:

Please note that braaing is only permitted during certain seasons, when there is a high risk of veld fires, you will not be allowed to braai.

If you are permitted to braai, please be a responsible human and ensure that your fire is properly extinguished. There is plenty of water in the dams, streams and rivers for you to use.
