Day Visitors

We have designated sites with benches and tables which are available for day visitors. Enjoy nature for the day underneath the poplar trees or grab a bench next to the river.​​

Gas braais are available for hire for the day.

Day visiting is on a first come first serve basis, we do not take bookings in advance.

Important note:

Please note that braaing is only permitted during certain seasons, when there is a high risk of veld fires, you will not be allowed to braai.

If you are permitted to braai, please be a responsible human and ensure that you are not the cause of a veld fire!

Trout River Falls prides itself on being a place of peace & quiet.
NO MUSIC is permitted.

Maximum numbers for day visitor 6 - 8 pax per group.
Anything more than that will have to enquire for a private event.

Weekdays (Mon - Thurs): Closed to the general public.
Unless you have booked the venue for a private event.
 

Weekend Day Visitor hours:

Friday: 08:00 - 17:00 ( Last entry at 3pm)

Saturday: 08:00 – 17:00 ( Last entry at 3pm)

Sunday: 09:00 – 15:00 ( Last entry at 1pm)

Public holiday: 09:00 – 15:00 ( Last entry at 1pm)

Picnic & hiking:

Adults ( +13yrs) – R100

Children ( 6- 12yrs) – R50

Children ( 0 – 5yrs) – Free

Day fishing

Adults (+13yrs) – R275

Children ( 6-12yrs) – R140

Other charges:

Gas braai hire: R300

We do not supply matches or braaing equipment, please ensure that you bring this along with you.
